David, Mike, and Jake. Morning session: Worked on constructing the winch and pulley frame to allow bags, once hoisted to the surface, to be swung away from the drop and lowered to the ground easily and safely. This is work in progress, and much was learnt. The team also hoisted to the surface several buckets of rocks and mud. John joined to commence the afternoon session, c.3 hours. Jake.
Jake Baynes, John Cooper, Mike Kousiounis (Kushy) and Dave Morrison (Tuska). Jake, Mike and Dave started in the moring by finishing off the scaffold and pulley system then made a start clearing the bottom. When John had finished his Swildon's Hole trip he replaced Jake hauling spoil to the surface. Mike was filling and Tuska was emptying. When Tuska left we switched to Mike hauling from the bottom and John emptying. Finished clearing the bottom ready for some more holes. John.
